V-Dri

The V-DriTM membrane has been designed to feature a series of microscopic holes, each one many times smaller than a water molecule. These tiny holes are so small, they prevent water from getting in the inside of the boot but are simultaneously large enough to allow perspiration to escape, which means feet stay cool and dry as they’re protected from both water and perspiration affecting comfort and foot health.

The V-Dri provides innovative moisture management and climate control capabilities through its ultra-wicking top fabric and highly advanced membrane material. These two elements allow moisture vapour out of the boot more quickly and efficiently when the foot inside becomes warmer. So, if temperatures are high or wearer use is frequent and therefore foot movement is more active, the resulting heat and sweat is removed faster with the V-Dri membrane.

After rigorous flex testing, it’s common for lesser membranes to crack. An effective membrane needs the right combination of tensile strength and breathability - but this is a challenging balance to strike, as a strong membrane tends to be thicker with less microscopic pore holes. A thinner membrane might be more breathable, but is more prone to crack. Advanced development means V-Dri features the perfect combination of performance and breathability.
